Everything I love from a Keel fin fish slightly modified for Hawai'i

Modeled after the original kneeboard "fish'' designs that emerged from San Diego in the '60s, the Tropical Fish features subtle modifications for variable conditions on the island of Oahu. Works best in small to overhead surf. Ride keel fins for fast carves with lots of drive and hold (think point break). A set of upright fins ride loose and pivot, handling a steeper approach to the lip. Either way, the outline is very user-friendly: fast and fluid down the line, loose but still engaged, with the ability to accelerate through flat sections and trim effortlessly.

Takes about 5-7 weeks for a basic shortboard with removable fins. Glass on fins, resin tint or custom paint could add another week or 2 on top of that. Carbon Fiber with Epoxy resin please add 2 more weeks. Thank you for your patience.
